Last Sunday in my travel back to Madrid by train I read an OSHO book called “AWARENESS”. He made me think and I’ve done some research. Osho is a modern prophet than considered himself a Budha, someone who was illuminated, someone who reached NIRVANA. Osho tried to teach our modern world how to do it . He has many followers but many detractors too. Quite interesting character…
What he teachs through his books about spiriatuality is not something original, it’s just old theories adapted to our times. That was told many years ago (2.500 Before JC) by BUDA. Buda was an Indian prince who abandoned everything (power, the luxury of a palace, even his own wife and son) for a meditation live at the early age of 29. After many years in an awareness state, thinking, observing live, meditating and knowing himself, he is considered to be the first one to reach Nirvana or be “illuminated”. He explained that only through mediation you get to know your truly you and the meaning of live. Through meditation you are able to be in a no-mind state (no thoughts on your mind only awareness of the present moment) so you get to nirvana, awareness, reality, truth, calm, answers, happiness…
Avoid be thinking all the time: your memories, the past, what the future should bring… Just enjoy your present time. Put all your senses and energy in it!
Thanks and smile… or should I say "Thanks and meditate" my friend… :-)
